In the extreme North of Mauritius there is a private nature sanctuary where so many rare species dwell, that it is used as a training facility for school children to learn about its unique flora and fauna. While walking through untouched mangrove forests, cradle and breeding grounds of myriad sea and land creatures, we have a chance to meet some of the world’s rarest plant species and enjoy a vacation from civilisation.
