It all start at the airport with your private air-condition airport transfer to the newly open 4 star Crystals Beach Resort where you will be staying in a spacious room or suite on half board (Breakfast and Dinner).

Open Water starts with registration at the Eagle Ray Diving Centre, a PADI Gold Palm IDC Dive Resort. At the same time, your dives and two other leisure activities will be planned.

For the leisure activities, you may chose two, out of the below list of five leisure activities, that suite you best.

1. Catamaran trip (Incl. Transport and Lunch)
A day at sea; visit the outer island, get to snorkel and enjoy a BBQ lunch.

2. Hiking Black River Gorge (Incl. Transport and Lunch)
Out in nature - Up close and personal with Govin

3. Zip line Ride (Incl. Transport and Lunch)
Nature from a different angle and with some excitement

4. Full day sightseeing south (Incl. Lunch and Special gift)
A day that is a little bit wild, with a view of history and hand-on the art of Mauritius

5. Full day sightseeing north (Incl. Lunch and Special gift)
Visit the bustling capital, a quid moment in nature, and a glimpse into history

Due to the exposure of the East coast to the prevailing wind, most dive sites are within minutes outside the barrier reef where dives are made around coral reefs, with plenty of tropical reef fishes. Other pelagic fishes can also be found swimming around with hard and soft corals offering unmatchable underwater sceneries. All dives are done by boat, and are accessible within 10 minutes trips. Drinking water is provided on board. Guests are requested to bring along sun cream or other sun protection.

During the day registration at the dive centre (check in the swimming pool if required) Registration at the Diving centre, filling of forms and getting customized with Manuals and equipments and first Pool session followed by a sea dive in a controlled environment( 06 – 12 mts).

Second to fourth day

Open water dives
09h30 meeting at Diving Centre preparing for Confine Water( swimming pool) session 2 and 3. Verification of Knowledge. Lunch and meeting at Diving Centre for Open Water Dive 2(12 mts max.)

Second to seventh day

2 leisure activities

Third day

09h30 Knowledge reviews of Manual and overview of multiple choice quizzes. Equipment set up at Diving Centre for Confine Water 4 and 5. Lunch, before setting off for Open Water Dive 3. Final Exam completion.

08:45 Meeting at Dive Centre for Open Water Dive 4.

Less than 6 weeks and no show: 100% of stay hence no refund

Less than 2 months - 100% of stay hence no refund.
More than 2 months 50% of stay hence 50% refund
More than 3 months 75% of stay hence 75% refund
More than 4 months 85% of stay hence 85% refund

At additional cost, divers may want to join on Diving Safaris to either the remote North Islands, diving the legendary “Sharks Pit” or the “swimming pool” like diving conditions on the North West coast, around Trou Aux Biches. Transfers by minibus will be provided.
