Les Cocotiers has 48 standard rooms, each offering a soothing sea view or a gorgeous garden view. Situated in the Northwest of Mauritius on the small beach of Tombeau Bay and only 10 minutes away from its bustling capital city Port Louis, this little hotel provides a welcoming and charming environment. La Baie Restaurant
The terraced restaurant La Baie offers a beautiful view over the beach and the Indian Ocean. All buildings are thatch roofed. Combined with the warm colours of the natural lava stone used for the main buildings and the vibrant green of the lush garden surrounding them, Les Cocotiers is a perfect little paradise of peace and serenity.

Guests may relax at the natural beach or in the shade of parasols by the pool. The small restaurant offers not only a nice beach view but also delicious breakfast buffets, a la carte lunch and afternoon tea with pancakes as well as dinner buffets or island style menus "table d'hote" with a choice of local dishes in the evenings.
The pool bar provides salads and sandwiches by the pool at lunchtime and welcomes guests for happy hour from 17:00 to 19:00 daily. A Sega live show and a barbecue take place every Saturday. Once a week, a live band and a Mauritian buffet contribute further to the entertainment provided by the hotel.

Le Goulet bar is open everyday from 08h00 to midnight. Drinks and snacks are at half price for Happy Hour everyday from 17h30 to 19h00.
Apart from relaxing at the pool, guests may spend their leisure time snorkelling or swimming in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Snorkel equipment and beach towels are available at the reception.

Question 4: Is there minimum stay for peak season?
Answer 4: Yes we have minimum stay of 7 nights for peak season which is from 20 Dec 2012 to 2 Jan 2013.
Question 5: Is there anything else you think we should prioritize to visit/do during our stay at Mauritius?
Answer 5: We suggest the below activities:
a. Diving – Note that Mauritius was awarded the best diving destination in 2012 by World Traveller for the Indian Ocean.
If you are not a diver, we can suggest Discover Scuba Diving
Should there be diver among, then, when the non divers are doing the Open Water Dive, the divers can join to enjoy a family dives.
Question 6: What about general weather conditions in December. It seems to be quite warm but also cloudier than we expected reading the public weather forecasts. Is it like that or can we expect a 100% sunny vacation?
Answer 6: December and January are the hottest month.
Regarding the cloud especially the northwest, and west, there are generally good clear sky. However, it is tropical weather where the conditions changes rapidly such as heavy rainfall in very short period.
Additionally, the island has a micro climate meaning that it can be raining on one part and on the other part fully shinning
You must pay a deposit at the time of confirmation of your booking. This is usually 30% of the total amount. Sometimes a higher deposit is required, if airlines or other service providers request full payment. This especially applies for airlines, and certain accommodations requiring higher advance deposits -this happens mostly during peak season.
If you are booking within 40 or less days of the commencement of your visit, full payment will be due right away.
Balances to be paid must reach our account no less than 35 days before your visit with us. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your booking. In this case, we will be entitled to keep all deposits paid or due at that date.
For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required, of which you will be notified at the time of quotation.
Credit card payments may incur a surcharge, which is advised at the time of payment. The surcharge range between 1 to 3% of the total invoiced amount
