Catamaran Wedding In Mauritius Diamond

The usual itinerary for the wedding cruise is as follows:
You need to assure that the official wedding formality is in order at least two days prior to the Catamaran wedding.

• On the wedding day; you will depart from the jetty at Grand Bay or for special arrangement from the beach by pirogue (local fishing boat) or from the jetty of your resort. On board the catamaran, everything will be prepared and personnel will be ready to attend to the wedding couple and their guests.
• The catamaran crew will sail out to a good location. A photographer will take pictures throughout the ceremony.
• The wedding is conducted by civil status officer. The vows will be exchanged and recorded in the civil status book.
• The ceremony normally lasts for about 30 minutes. The officer will be available for pictures during the ceremony.
• Wedding cake and champagne is served before dinner, so as to pose for the wedding photos during the sunset.
• Dinner is served for the couple
• The couple will enjoy the night with champagne under the stars.
• Honeymooners will stay overnight on board of the catamaran in the comfort of Mont Choisy bay.
• On the second day; the couple will have breakfast and wedding gift.
• Departure: Sail around the Northern Island, Flat Island, Gabriel Island, Round Island, Snake Island and Shark point.
• Snorkelling and lunch at Coin de Mire
• Sailing and relaxation at Mont Choisy Bay with possibility of snorkelling.
• Photographer for 3 hours (to be schedule)
• Sunset cruise with champagne and snacks
• Dinner with wine under the stars
• Overnight in comfort of Grand Bay
• On the third day; the honeymooners will enjoy breakfast and disembark at the jetty.

Mauritius overnight cruise

1. After deposit payment a order form will be send for the passengers fill out and sign reconfirming the reservation and agreed terms and conditions.
2. It is the responsibility of the passengers to advise of any food allergy or follow special diet or have any other special requests concerning food and drinks well in advance departure.
3. Passengers that suffer from any specific diseases, including seasickness, are informed to take all necessary medicine approved by doctor with them and attest from doctor for custom.
4. 50 % of the total amount as deposit payment upon booking. 30 % is to be effected by bank transfer and cleared on our bank account 60 days prior to embarking and 20% balance 30 days prior to embarking.

Cancellation within:

1. 60 days of embarking: 50% of full amount refunded
2. 30 days of embarking: 0% of full amount refunded
3. Cancellation more than 60 days in advance of embarking will entitle the participant to a rescheduled excursion.
4. In the event of unforeseen circumstance arising, we reserve the right at our own discretion to cancel or reschedule an excursion up to embarking.
1. If however, the passenger refuses the rescheduling, passenger will be refunded by seller up to 50% of the total cost.

During peak and high season

1. Cancellation within 90 days of embarking: 0% of full amount refunded
2. Cancellation 60 days in advance of embarking will entitle the participant to a rescheduled excursion.

NOTES

1. Cruise and program  is  weather permitting, changes can be made for the reason that safety is priority of the company.
2. We cannot be held in responsible in anyway for cancelation in total or part due to bad weather or cyclonic risk over the area. However, in case of total cancelation before the departure, we will offer the opportunity to post-pone the trip if possible.
3. We recommend that you sign a traveller insurance, which in addition to the general conditions, cover the traveller(s) in case of cancellation prior to travelling.

REFUND POLICY:

Any refund is effected 30 days end of month from date of approved refund from our accounting department.

We suggest that the couple consider bringing the following with them or making the time to buy these in Mauritius:

• Wedding dress properly packed. There are plenty of designers and tailors on the island that can assist (tailored made dress or suit generally take 3 to 5 days depending on complexity of their design)
• Personal make up and perfumes
• Wedding rings. Should you prefer custom-made rings we highly recommend Ravior (100% Mauritian made jewellery).
• Shoes for the wedding (Larger sizes are not easily found on the island)
• Particular stationery items or guest cards

Catamaran wedding tips

Wear footwear appropriate for a boat; you may consider bringing two pairs to change before and after the ceremony. May we remind you that this is the perfect chance to have a barefoot ceremony! A light jacket or shawl is recommended as temperature drops a little after the sun sets.

Bride may want to get extra hairpins for their hairdo, as it can get breezy on the boat. Also, do not forget to bring a hair repair and makeup kit along, as you cannot go back to your room to fix yourself up before the photos are taken.

In case the weather conditions are not favourable, We will try to reschedule as per the wishes of the couple. In some cases additional fees or costs such as for new flower decorations may occur.

The wedding cannot take place either the bride or the groom, or both, fail to produce the necessary documents on the required date.

Even though we have a selection of premium drinks (vodka, rum and wine on board) for sale, we do recommend all clients to bring their own bottle of preferred spirits/wine as we cannot guarantee availability at the time of your trip.
