The hotel features two restaurants. Overlooking the beach and the swimming pool, Le Scheherazade combines spicy oriental cuisine. It is open for buffet breakfasts, theme buffets or a la carte dining. Le Momo's offers Arabic and Moorish tastes in a typical and comfortable setting. The Oasis beach bar with a charming lounge serves cool drinks between 9 am and 11 pm, as well as light meals and cool beverages around lunch time. Light meals are also served by the pool area all day around. Tea is served in the afternoons.
The hotel's boat house right on the beach of Belle Mare, one of the longest on the island, invites to all kinds of water activities and excursions.

Le Shéhérazade Restaurant
Le Sheherazade offers a Moorish decoration accompanied with Mauritian charm. There's nothing more wonderful than taking your breakfast on this shaded terrace or enjoying a cup of tea at dawn on a beautiful day. The themed buffet will allow you to discover the many different tastes of Mauritius, from Creole specialities to Asian influenced dishes such as sweet and sour, all combined with a touch of Indian spice.
Menu: Red tuna filet served with a curry sauce, Babone fish tagine, lamb stew with grilled vegetable…. a festival of colours, flavours and aromas… the sweetest part, strawberry delicacy and almond ice cream, roasted pineapple with honey and thyme, lemongrass sherbet, to name just a few.

Le Momo’s Restaurant
Each evening Le Momo's welcomes its guests in a thousand and one Arabian night ambiance. At dinner time, let yourself be carried away by the intimacy of this gourmet restaurant. The soft lighting and high blue ceiling will remind you of the sumptuous Riads of Morocco combining warm colours and intricate detail. Tables are beautifully set up with bright decoration, the contrast of colours and lighting guaranteeing romanticism.
A fusion of Mediterranean, French and Oriental tradition inviting every guest on a unique journey... 'roasted king prawn' and 'crab soup with coriander' for seafood flavours, 'mezellis', 'lamb tagine' and 'cardamom crème brulee' for time honoured Moroccan delicacies. Asian cuisine lovers can savour the 'beef filet skewers crusted with Szechuan pepper" and "crab meat spring rolls". All combined with the gentle breeze of the ocean.....

Oasis Bar
There are moments both simple and beautiful. Enjoying a cocktail at the bar La Palmeraie is one of them. The bar is at the heart of the terrace where the land meets the sea. A large room extending out to the lush gardens and pool, comfortable chairs and the sea so alive, so close....
The Oasis bar is an island of escape, a moment of well-being that allows everyone to come and simply enjoy the serenity of La Palmeraie. At lunch, snacks or a la carte dishes are available. Treats and light snacks are available throughout the day in the indoor lounge or by the poolside. Finally, the bar extends your evenings with colourful cocktails and flavoured rums. A unique space is dedicated to the famous shisha, a symbol of hospitality in the Maghreb.

Cancellation Policy:
Payment
You must make a deposit when confirming your booking. This is usually 20% of the total amount. Sometimes a higher deposit is required, if airlines or other service providers request full payment. This especially applies for airlines, and certain accommodations requiring higher advance deposits; this happens mostly during peak season.
If you are booking within 30 or less days of your visit, full payment will be due immediately.
Balances to be paid must reach our account no less than 30 days before your visit with us. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your booking. In this case, we will be entitled to keep all deposits paid or due at that date.
For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required, of which you will be notified at the time of quotation.
Credit card payments incur a 2% surcharge.

Question 4: Is there minimum stay for peak season?
Answer 4: Yes we have minimum stay of 7 nights for peak season which is from 26 Dec 2012 to 3 Jan 2013.
Question 5: Is there anything else you think we should prioritize to visit/do during our stay at Mauritius?
Answer 5: We suggest the below activities:
a. Diving – Note that Mauritius was awarded the best diving destination in 2012 by World Traveller for the Indian Ocean.
If you are not a diver, we can suggest Discover Scuba Diving
Should there be diver among, then, when the non divers are doing the Open Water Dive, the divers can join to enjoy a family dives.
Question 6: What about general weather conditions in December. It seems to be quite warm but also cloudier than we expected reading the public weather forecasts. Is it like that or can we expect a 100% sunny vacation?
Answer 6: December and January are the hottest month.
Regarding the cloud especially the northwest, and west, there are generally good clear sky. However, it is tropical weather where the conditions changes rapidly such as heavy rainfall in very short period.
Additionally, the island has a micro climate meaning that it can be raining on one part and on the other part fully shinning
