Nestled on the South Coast of Mauritius Island, Andréa Lodge is a unique jewel which flows out seamlessly to sensational vistas of the Indian Ocean on one side and to the luxuriant vegetation and sugar cane fields on the other.

The landscape weaves down the Rivière des Anguilles until it merges into the black-stoned cliffs where the roaring waves crash. The cool sea breeze relaxes the mind and the soul, leaving our guests feeling invigorated and energized

Restraurant and Bar
Ideally located in proximity of the cliffs, the restaurant and bar is a magical place offering a panoramic view where our guests can spend unforgettable moments and discover the best Mauritian cuisines available.

Along the South Coast, pretty lagoons with crystal clear water can be found. However, the south is one of the few places in Mauritius where the open sea comes straight in to break on rocky cliffs. In most places, bathing is thus considered hazardous due to strong currents and dangerous waves.

Visiting the south is a manifold experience, as the scenery and omnipresence of colonial history are both picturesque and intriguing. In our opinion, the south is the region that contains by far the most interesting traces of the French colonial era. Among the main places of interest are Rochester Falls, the blow-hole “Souffleur”, the Mahebourg Naval Museum and the Marine Park at Blue Bay.
