In the Northwest coast of Mauritius, near the historical site of Balaclava, lays the Resort and Spa "La Plantation". With a 1000 m2 of swimming pools, 4000 m2 designed water environment, a river and the Indian Ocean the hotel is almost surrounded by water.
With modern designed rooms and family suites, a conference centre (up to 700 persons) the hotel lives up to the expectation of a four star holiday and business resort that exudes an atmosphere of freedom, happiness and relaxation. Restaurants
The main Buffet Restaurant provides both a variety of breakfast and international menu for dinner. The Gastronomy Restaurant is a big dining room, decorated by a theatrical wall fresque made of wines of the world, offers a blend of both Mauritian and European cuisine. The Beach Restaurant location ‘pied dans l'eau' and placed next to the ‘Citron' river provides a light and fresh Mediterranean menu and grills with Creole touch
Bars
The Main Bar is a lofty bar surrounded by water invites for a refreshing cocktail and drink anytime of the day and for a quick bit, sandwiches and salads are served. The Convivial Bar invites for a drink in a quiet and convivial atmosphere where you can enjoy panoramas over the garden and the ponds. The Beach Bar faces either the sea or the river, makes you enjoy a refreshing cocktail without getting away from the beach.

The two shops are opened from 08:30 to noon and from 13:00 to 20:00. One of them sells gold and silver jewellery and the other one offers a large variety of souvenirs, spices, casual wear and international magazines.
A jeweller's shop(a Caunhye brand) is opened from 9:00AM to 8:00PM It offers a large variety of classy jewellery.

Question 1: Are we able to pay with credit card?
Answer 1: Yes you are able to pay by credit card (Visa Card or Master Card).
Question 2: What type of credit or debit cards can I use with Pay Pal?
Answer 2: Pay Pal accepts the following cards:

Question 4: Can you kindly confirm that the price we pay for the room also includes a two way airport transfer?
Answer 4: Please note the price is per room per night and it includes only the accommodation with meals and drinks for 2 persons per room.
Question 5: We believe that internet is also included in the package, please confirm.
Answer 5: Yes. However, note that Internet is only accessing in the lobby, at the Bar and in the restaurants.
Question 6: Is there anything else you think we should prioritize to visit/do during our stay at Mauritius?
Answer 6: We suggest the below activities:
a. Diving – Note that Mauritius was awarded the best diving destination in 2012 by World Traveller for the Indian Ocean.
If you are not a diver, we can suggest Discover Scuba Diving
Should there be diver among, then, when the non divers are doing the Open Water Dive, the divers can join to enjoy a family dives.
Question 7: What about general weather conditions in December. It seems to be quite warm but also cloudier than we expected reading the public weather forecasts. Is it like that or can we expect a 100% sunny vacation?
Answer 7: December and January are the hottest month.
Regarding the cloud especially the northwest, and west, there are generally good clear sky. However, it is tropical weather where the conditions changes rapidly such as heavy rainfall in very short period.
Additionally, the island has a micro climate meaning that it can be raining on one part and on the other part fully shinning
Question 8: Access to wifi whilst at the resort will thus also be very important for us during our stay. Will you please confirm if the Superior rooms will have good quality access to wifi
Answer 8: Please note that internet is only accessible at the reception area/lobby
Question 9: Will you please confirm if the Superior rooms will have good quality access to wifi and are located conveniently to get to and from reception in order to take a taxi to Port Louis in the mornings?
Answer 9: The superior rooms are spread on both side outwards from the reception on the hotel property. We can however make a special request for 2 rooms near the reception.
